Cintas enjoys numerous relationships with a diverse set of suppliers to provide the best value proposition in the business.
Cintas approaches each relationship as a long-term commitment that is mutually beneficial to both the supplier and the customers of Cintas.
Cintas generally has two types of agreements that we enter into with suppliers. Corporate Purchase Agreements (CPAs) are used by Cintas corporate offices to secure supplier services on a mandatory basis for all of its field offices. Voluntary Purchase Agreements (VPAs) are preferred status agreements with suppliers that are more recommendations than committed sales for a given supplier.
In all, corporate CPAs and VPAs will provide for the availability of suitable goods and services at competitive prices and superior value. All Cintas field locations follow the purchasing agreements set forth by Cintas Corporate offices.
As part of these purchase agreements, suppliers are expected to sign-off on the Cintas Vendor Code of Conduct and open up their facilities for continuous audit by Cintas Corporation to ensure compliance. More on this is available under the official Code of Conduct for Cintas Vendors.
We promote and support the growth and development of minority and woman owned businesses.
Our goal is to educate, help develop and provide sourcing opportunities that will enable these vendors to be successful as our suppliers and in our nation’s business world.
Our Commitment to Vendor Diversity:
- Corporate-wide initiative to educate our partners on the importance of having a diverse supply chain
- Look to increase the number of small, minority and woman owned businesses that provide us with products and services, while maintaining our current standards of quality, competitive pricing and customer service
- Ensure that every small, minority and woman owned business is treated fairly during the supplier qualification process
- Encourage and guide M/WBEs (Minority/Women Business Entrepreneurs) to become certified through the appropriate national organizations
- Help M/WBEs to understand Cintas' requirements and vendor related policies and procedures
